Welcome to another edition of Fantastic Finish Photo Friday. We want to bask in your awesomeness from your finish photos. A finish photo captures a moment in time, where you overcame the challenges of the race and training, and reached your goal. The feeling of elation as you cross the line is what keeps us pushing our own limits. Please consider sharing your own photo to inspire others who are working toward their own finish.
This week’s photo is from Corinne Odeurs:
Corrine: This was taken on Saturday at the London Triathlon. It was my first Sprint and it is a challenge I set to myself a year ago. I worked really hard with this specific moment in mind: crossing the finish line. What I felt when I could see the line in the distance was mixed emotions: I was sad it was about to end (!) but also can’t wait to actually finally stop running! The feeling of accomplishment was incredible, even a guy who finished just before me hugged me and told me he could see it was important to me. However the important thing is not what I did, but what I have started. This is only the beginning of a crazy adventure. What is amazing with sport is that it makes you push your limits and makes you meet fantastic people along the way!
Fantastic job Corrine. Very inspiring.
